Goncalo Guedes finally managed to play in Valencia's opening game of a La Liga campaign. After three years as a Valencia player, the Portuguese finally played in his side's La Liga opener.

Valencia were unable to take maximum points from their opening game of the 2019-20 La Liga season. Marcelino's side were 1-0 up against Real Sociedad, but were pegged back thanks to a 101st minute penalty

Gameiro put the home side in front, but Oyarzabal levelled the game for the Basques. Guedes, one of the Valencia players, showed moments of class, but was not very dangerous.

The funny thing is that the Portuguese, who has been at Valencia for three years, played in the side's opening La Liga game for the first time ever after missing it in the previous two years.
