Gudjohnsen offers to play for Chapecoense
Former Chelsea and Barcelona star Eidur Gudjohnsen has said that he would help Chapecoense and play for the club if they have a place for him.
Brazilian footballing legend Ronaldinho reportedly offered to help the club after almost its entire team was killed in a aeroplane crash ahead of their Copa Sudamericana clash with Colombian side Atletico Nacional.
In the wake of Eidur Gudjohnsen's former team-mate's comments, the Icelandic forward said that he would be prepared to help out Chapecoense, even if it was just to play with Ronaldinho again.
"Out of respect I would play for @ChapecoenseReal if they have a place for me! If not just to play with @10Ronaldinho again #ForcaChape".
Gudjohnsen played with Ronaldinho for three years, playing 112 times, scoring 19 goals.
