He could negotiate his move now from Crystal Palace or wait until the summer when he would be free.
Vicente Guaita will return to Spain to play for Real Sociedad. The question is whether it will be now or in the summer. The keeper has reached an agreement with the Basques and the issue now is to know when it will be.
Days back, 'Mundo Deportivo' said that Real Sociedad had put in an offer for Guaita. It was not the only one the former Valencia goalkeeper had, but it is the one he has chosen, the same media outlet reports this Saturday.
Now Guaita and his agents are waiting to see what Real Sociedad do. If they are interested in signing him now, they will have to sit down to negotiate with Crystal Palace. They could let him go for a token sum to prevent losing him in the summer on a free.
If they sign him in the final days of January, the cited media outlet says that he would a sign a contract until 2023. In other words, for the rest of this season plus two more. All parties have until 1st February to decide.
