Antoine Griezmann didn't have to wait long to open the scoring at the Rosaleda against bottom-of-the-league Malaga as a deflected shot fell his way inside the first minute of the encounter.
The French forward was alert as the ball deflected through the Malaga back line, making sure he got to it before the keeper and clipping in a high finish at the near post.
This was followed by a very nice touch from the former Real Sociedad player as he dedicated the goal to a young Atletico fan who passed away midweek.
It was Griezmann's ninth goal of the season, some way behind Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at the top of the charts.
