Domingos Duarte could stay in La Liga. Diego Martinez has reportedly asked Espanyol to sign the Portuguese centre-back, for whom the Catalans have already offered 2 million euros. However, Granada would have immediately rejected the offer.

Domingos Duarte still has one more year left on his contract with Granada, but he could move to another club this summer if the club after him manages to convince the Andalusian side.

We are talking about Diego Martinez's Espanyol, the coach who has set his sights on the 27-year-old Portuguese centre-back to join the Catalan side and strengthen his backline.

Martinez knows the Portuguese centre-back well from his time at Los Carmenes and would like to bring him back for his new spell in charge of the Catalan bench. Granada's relegation to Segunda could facilitate Duarte's departure from the club, but they have no intention, far from it, of giving him away.

The newspaper 'Marca' claims that Espanyol have offered 2 million euros for the signing of the Portuguese player, a figure that was immediately rejected by Granada, who want something more for their player.
