Having missed out on a place in Germany's World Cup squad, Borussia Dortmund player Mario Gotze is eyeing a switch to English football with a number of clubs interested.

The midfielder has endured a frustrating few years, having suffered constant injury set backs following his heroics in the 2014 World Cup final, by scoring the goal that clinched the trophy for 'Das Mannschaft'.

Just 4 years on from that triumphany moment, he was left out of the squad which will aim to defend the title that the Dortmund man helped to win.

Although Gotze felt as though he had a chance of getting in to the squad, after a resurgence in his club form, and manging 32 appearances in all competitions last season, Joachim Low opted against choosing the player he once branded as a 'wonder kid'.

To try and re-establish himself in the national team, the 26 year-old feels as though he needs a move to the Premier League to be able to showcase his talents.

It seems as though there are 5 Premier League sides, including West Ham and Arsenal who would be interested in signing the German, which the Mirror reports would cost £18 million.
