Feirense goalkeeper Arthur has gone viral in Portugal after equalising against Moreirense with a goal from his own penalty box. The goal was not enough to get a point against the leaders, but the goal was superb.
Feirense hosted runaway leaders Moreirense in the Portuguese second tier with the aim of ending Moreirense's unbeaten record. The home side ended up losing the contest, but their goal was one of Portuguese football's most memorable.
In the 69th minute, Arthur was getting to ready to take a goal kick. The hosts were losing 0-1 and the Brazilian goalkeeper showed how strong his right foot was. His power and some good fortune meant the ball found the back of the Moreirense net.
Arthur's goal went around the world and all his teammates immediately went to congratulate him.
In the end, a 71st minute Pedro Aparicio goal meant Feirense lost, but Arthur will remember that goal for the rest of his life.
