Girona v Levante was never going to be one of the most appealing fixtures this weekend, so naturally it served up what may well be the best goal you will see in some time, courtesy of Alex Granell.
Teh two sides met at the Montilivi with very different aims, the former looking to sneak into a European place and the letter looking to avoid the drop, though both teams were forced to do with a point in the end.
Granell opened the scoring following a host of chances for both sides, but in the end, the goal was worth the wait.
The 29-year-old picked the ball up following a throw-in on the right and cut inside before firing an unstoppable drive into the top corner from range.
Oier in the visiting goal was a mere spectator.
