Olivier Giroud scored his third goal in two games against Southampton to put Chelsea ahead in their FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

The Frenchman fired home a brace in a 3-2 victory over the Saints in the Premier League and found himself on the scoresheet again a week later.

Just after the break, Cesc Fabregas dinked a ball over the top which Eden Hazard controlled well, laying it off to Giroud.

The 31-year-old then danced his way through the box, evading three or four challenges, before poking it past opposing goalkeeper Alex McCarthy to make it 1-0.
