Georgia manager Vladimir Weiss has promised that his side won't make life easy for Wales on Friday, despite them having nothing left to play for.

Wales currently occupy second place in group D and they are looking to ensure a play-off place at the very least going into Friday's encounter.

Hosts Georgia have nothing to play for in Tblisi, having failed to win any of their eight qualifying games but Weiss insists that his side will not simply roll over.

Speaking ahead of the game, Weiss told the press: 'We will do our best and start to look ahead to the next qualification campaign.

'Every game is important for us, we play for the three points and for our supporters.

'We will not make it easy for Wales but they still have a chance to qualify.

'Maybe Serbia will get a good result in Austria, but Wales still must win two games. Ireland also have a chance.'

Weiss' words will not have been what Wales boss Chris Coleman was hoping to hear, especially after Wales were held to a 1-1 draw during the last meeting between the two sides.

Georgia have already proved that they are a tough nut to crack, having drawn five of their eight qualifiers so far this campaign.
