Sampdoria confirmed this Thursday that Manolo Gabbiadini has tested positive for COVID-19, the second in Serie A to do so. The footballer, on social media, said he felt well.

There has been a second case of coronavirus in Serie A. After the announcement on Wednesday that Daniele Rugani had it, Sampdoria confirmed this Thursday that Manolo Gabbiadini has tested positive for COVID-19 so he has been immediately isolated from the rest of the squad.

The Italian side are activating all the processes of isolation required by the Italian authorities. Although Sampdoria did not say it, the club's footballers will have to be quarantined if they have had contact with Gabbiadini in recent days.

After the news on Gabbiadini, Hellas Verona, who faced Sampdoria last weekend, confirmed that all the club's activities had been suspended until further notice and they will be taking all the necessary measures.
