Fulham in talks over Dwight Gayle
Fulhm are in talks with Newcastle over the signing of the striker and have reportedly submitted a bid of £15m.
It has been reported that Fulham have submitted a £15m bid for Dwight Gayle but sources at the club have denied that they made such a bid.
According to 'Sky Sports' Newcastle are looking for a fee of nearer £20m and will only sell Gayle if they can find a replacement before the transfer deadline on Thursday night.
Gayle was Newcastle's top scorer as they secured promotion to the Premier League with 23 goals in 34 appearances.
Despite the fact that Fulham have already signed two strikers in Rui Fonte from Braga and Aboubakar Kamara from Amiens, the English striker as emerged as a target for Slavisa Jokanovic's side.
