New transfers in English football. Fulham, Crystal Palace and Stoke City have signed Cedric Soares and Sambi Lokonga and Bournemouth's Ben Pearson. The three clubs have concluded various deals to secure the players on loan.

It's been a busy day in English football. Just a few hours after the winter transfer window closed, many clubs are unveiling their new signings.

Among them are Fulham, who managed to reach an agreement with Arsenal to sign Cedric Soares, a 31-year-old Portuguese right-back who was not part of Mikel Arteta's plans. The Portuguese defender has signed until the end of the season.

Ben Pearson has also signed a new contract until the end of the 2022-23 season, but with Stoke City. The 28-year-old midfielder leaves Bournemouth, a club where he lacks space, on a temporary basis to start a new journey in English football.

Following the arrivals of Matija Sarkic, Bersant Celina and Ki-Jana Hoever, Pearson becomes the team's fourth addition in the January transfer window.
