What was experienced in the Polish Cup has no words. Lech Poznan and Lechia Gdansk went to penalties for a spot in the desired final. With Dariusz Zuraw's men in the ascendency and with even two chances to win, Marchwinski, Dani Ramírez, and Jozwiak missed their penalties and left their side without the dream grand final.

Let's set the scene. Polish Cup semi-final. Lech Poznan face Lechia Gdansk for a place in the desired final. After the first goal from PaixaoDani Ramírez equalled the contest and the match went to penalties.

Lech Poznan did what they had to do and scored their first three from Gytkjaer, Moder and Satka, while Lechia missed the second. With Dariusz Zuraw's men in the ascendency, things didn't go as hoped for them

Lech even had two chances to win, but instead of that, Marchwinski, Dani Ramírez and Jozwiak missed their penalties, three consecutive penalties, and left their side without the dream grand final, as Paixao and Gajos both scored past Van der Hart in the Poznan goal.
