Ryan Fraser has become the latest player to withdraw from the Scotland squad ahead of Thursday's Nations League clash in Israel.

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has already withdrawn from the squad after claiming that he wants to focus on his fitness.

Now Bournemouth star Fraser, who has started the season in superb form, has pulled out of the squad too.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder suffered an injury during the Cherries' 4-0 spanking of Watford at the weekend in the Premier League.

Fraser is set to miss Scotland's games against Israel and Portugal, in the UEFA Nations League and an international friendly respectively.

The SFA has yet to announce if they will be calling up a replacement but the absence of Griffiths and Fraser leaves McLeish short on forward options.
