Barcelona chiefs are trying to keep as many doors open as possible when it comes to January and next summer's targets, with Philippe Coutinho, Yerry Mina, Jean Seri and Leon Goretzka all on the club's radar.

Following this summer's disastrous transfer market, Barcelona officials have already identified who they want to bring to the Camp Nou over the next 12 months.

Coutinho

The Liverpool playmaker is, without a doubt, Barca's top transfer target for the January market. It will not be easy to lure the Brazilian away from Anfield midseason, but as we have learnt over the last few months, anything can happen in football. There are reports, however, suggesting former Barcelona star Neymar, who completed a world record £198 move to PSG in August, is trying to convince his compatriot to join him in the French capital. Despite this, the Spanish giants are still expecting to sign Coutinho based on the fact it is his dream to play at the Camp Nou.

Mina

The 23-year-old is one of the most promising young defenders in world football. Reports in Spain state that Barcelona already have a pre-agreement with the Colombian for next summer, but his arrival could be brought forward to January depending on the needs of the team. Currently at Brazilian club Palmeiras, Mina stands out because of his electrifying pace and technical ability on the ball.

Goretzka

One of the only players of his kind in the Bundesliga. Ariedo Braida, a European scout for Barca, has already watched the 22-year-old on a number occasions. Goretzka's current Schalke contract expires in June, but that can also be seen as a negative, with a number of Europe's best teams expected to fight for his signature in the upcoming windows. The midfielder is a strong, fierce competitor and has often been compared to former Germany star Michael Ballack.

Seri

Club chiefs have not given up on the man they came so close to signing this summer. Despite now appearing to be a lost cause, Seri could potentially still arrive at the Camp Nou in January and if not, next summer. There is, however, a lot of doubt surrounding this transfer, with the player himself hitting out at Barcelona's decision to pull out of a done deal overnight.
