Former 'Red Devil' Nani rolls back the years with solo effort for Sporting

While the former Manchester United man may now by 32, he showed that he still has an incredible footballing ability, by dribbling past four defenders to score an amazing solo goal.

Now in his third spell with Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon, Nani demonstrated that he still has the high level of talent, which attracted the attentions of Sir Alex Ferguson earlier on in his career. 

Known as a flair player, Nani scored an excellent solo effort against Sporting Qarabag in the Europa League on Thursday, as the visitors ran out comfortable 6-1 winners. 

The Portuguese danced around four defenders and fired at goal, catching the hosts keeper by surprise. 

Although, having said that, even if the keeper had been aware of the incoming strike, there was hardly anything that he would have been able to do about it.

The, in customary style, he celebrated the incredible goal with his trademark somersault celebration. 

Having been handed the captain's armband when he returned to the club, Nani has made sure to lead by example. 

Nani has scored 7 goals and recorded 5 assists, in just 16 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese side.
