Fulham manager, Slavisa Jokanovic, is reportedly among those being considered as a potential replacement for Antonio Conte.
Following reports that Chelsea have drawn up a list of potential replacements for Antonio Conte at the end of the season, one former 'Blues' player is rumoured to be a surprise contender.
Although Luis Enrique, the former Barcelona coach, remains the favoured candidate, Chelsea are also understood to be considering current Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic, according to the 'Daily Mail'.
The Serbian was joined Stamford Bridge in October 2000 for £1.7 million, and made 39 appearances for the club during two Premier League seasons. Although, he was released in July 2002 and shortly afterwards retired as a professional player, aged 33.
Jokanovic is currently head coach at Fulham, a side which has not lost in the Championship since December and is currently tied with Wolves as the second tier top-scorers.
However, the former defensive midfielder lacks managerial experience at the Premiership level. Despite leading Watford to promotion to the top division in 2014, contract complications led to Jokanovic leaving the club before the opening of the next season .
Jokanovic may be a wild card for the Chelsea takeover, but perhaps one to watch out for with the end of the season fast-approaching.
