Former Barca target's stunning double
Roma forward Gerson was one of Barcelona's top targets during the summer and he showed why on Sunday, scoring twice to help his side to a 4-2 victory over Fiorentina.
The 20-year-old has only made 20 appearances for the Italian side and was a regular feature on the bench last season.
This term though, he has forced himself into the team more with a series of promising performances.
In the game against 'La Viola' on Sunday, the Brazilian issued a reminder of his ability, scoring two fine finishes to help his side to victory and a new Serie A record in the process.
Both goals were clinically put away with his left foot and Roma fans will be hoping there are plenty more to come from the youngster.
