'For me, he will always be the best'
Barcelona legend Deco has named Ronaldinho as the best player to have ever played the game.
Having had the honour of sharing a pitch with many icons of the game; Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, the Barcelona legend has named Ronaldinho as the best player he has ever seen on a football field.
Deco shared a dressing room with all the above names during his time at the Nou Camp, but he has admitted that, none of them come close to the Brazil icon when speaking of raw ability.
Of course, Ronaldinho was at the peak of his powers when Deco arrived in Catalunya, and maybe if he had played in the Messi era at Barcelona, his opinion would be different.
Nevertheless, Deco revealed in a recent interview that 'Dinho' was by far the best player in history, at least in his own personal standings.
In a recent interview with 'AS', the Portuguese said: "'From the outset, it is clear that Leo and Cristiano are the greatest. Especially because no one thought they could take so many years to this level, but the one that impressed me most despite not being so decisive was Ronnie."
He continued: "For me, he will always be the best. We met in Barcelona and immediately connected with him, the moments I lived with him are difficult to compare to anything. It was magical."
Deco and Ronaldinho would play out the final years of their career at Brazilian side Fluminense.
