Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo spoke about the future of Joao Felix, who is on loan at Barcelona, and said the forward will have no problem staying at the Catalan club because of his talent.
The relationship between Atletico Madrid and Joao Felix is broken. The disagreements between both parties are evident and they do not seem to be on the same wavelength regarding their future.
Enrique Cerezo has been the last one to talk about it. At the directors' lunch before the match against Borussia Dortmund, the Atletico Madrid president was questioned about the Portuguese.
"Joao Felix will have no problem staying at Barcelona because he is a magnificent player," Cerezo said of the possibility of extending the striker's contract with the Catalan side.
Cerezo added about the Portuguese international that they want him to "succeed because he deserves it and because he is one of the best players in Europe".
"The system here has not been good for him, but he is still a great player. He is at Barca, he wants to play for Barca and he is happy. There he will have his very good afternoons of success," he concluded.
