Atletico Madrid's Felipe Luis is Paris Saint-Germain's top left-back target - not Tottenham's Danny Rose as has been widely reported.
'Sky Sports News' is reporting that Felipe Luis is PSG's top transfer target at left-back - despite Danny Rose being heavily linked - and that a formal enquiry has been made to Atletico Madrid regarding the transfer.
Despite being out of favour in North London, Rose looks increasingly likely to remain at Spurs until January with few credible options on the table for Spurs and the 28-year-old full-back.
Rose has been at Spurs since 2007 and is reportedly happy to stay and fight for his place at the club.
It is believed that Atletico are unwilling to let the 33-year-old leave the club, unless PSG make a lucrative offer for his services.
Rose was given permission to speak to potential suitors earlier in the summer with Schalke at one stage keen to take him on loan.
