Felipe lost his head and saw red after kicking out at Foden

In added time, Felipe lost his head and ended up harming his own team. The Atletico Madrid ended up kicking Foden in the leg when the play was not in play and he earned himself a straight red card.

Atletico Madrd were the better team in the second half against Man City and the were close to scoring on numerous occasions. However, the match remained 0-0 going into second half stoppage time. 

That is when the controversial incident occurred. Felipe made a lovely tackle on Foden on his near side and when the Englishman was moving away from the scene, he kicked Foden in the leg from behind when the ball was already out of play. 

The Man City man rolled onto the pitch and Savic and Llorente were furious with him. They tried to lift him up and push him off the pitch and members of both clubs ended up getting involved in a big fight. 

Savic and Ake ended up seeing yellow and Felipe got himself a straight red card. The defender was furious leaving the pitch, he continued his protests to the ref and ended up kicking a monitor,
