FA waits for report on Gresley incident
Non league player, Gary Ricketts, is waiting to find out his punishment after being sent off for reacting to a comment from the crowd by a rivaling fan on Saturday.
The 40-year-old footballer was sent off after he jumped the barrier to confront a Leek Town supporter.
The Football Association is waiting for the referee's report before deciding what Ricketts' punishment will be.
NPL chairman Mark Harris told the 'BBC', "Gary reacted to a comment made by someone on the terraces. Other than the loss of control going into the crowd, there is no question any act of violence took place."
