French defender Patrice Evra has been heavily punished by UEFA after he attacked a fan with a kung-fu kick earlier this month. Marseille have also announced they have terminated his contract.
French defender Patrice Evra has been heavily punished by UEFA after he attacked a fan with a kung-fu kick earlier this month. Marseille have also announced they have terminated his contract.
Following his kung-fu kick attack on his own fan before the Europa League clash against Vitoria Guimaraes, the 36-year-old has been banned from participating in any UEFA club competitions until June 30, 2018 and has been fined 10,000 euros for his actions.
Marseille also announced via their website that the player and club have parted ways and his contract has been terminated.
