On 30th November in Bucharest, the revolutionary and awaited Euro 2020 draw will take place. Spain will take part in the draw, if possible, as top of the group. But what will this new draw be like? We'll tell you all the details.

Being first in the group for the Euro 2020 draw is more than essential. Only 6 of the best 1st place teams will be in pot 1.

UEFA published the criteria that they will follow to choose the best 6 countries on their website: the most important, like normal, will be the final group position, followed by points, goal difference, goals scored, goals conceded, away goals scored, number of wins, number of away wins, lowest number of disciplinary points and finally the ranking in the UEFA Nations League.

Spain are currently top of the group with 20 points and would be one of the best 6 teams, since they are 3rd only behind Belgium and Italy, both with 24 points.

However, there are still 2 matchdays left, so the qualification could vary notably. Let's remember that Spain, top of Group F, still have to play Malta and Romania. Getting 3 points in both matches is essential to be among the 6 best.

What Spain have managed to find out is the Euro 2020 dates, most notably the 1st and 3rd matchdays, since the 2nd one doesn't have an exact date.

Robert Moreno's side will start the tournament on 15th June and finish the group on 24th June. They will play at least 2 matches at the San Mamés, in Bilbao.
