Free agent Antonio Cassano, who has thirty nine caps for Italy, has claimed he would never move to China, as he has earned enough money in his career.

Speaking to 'Corriere della Sera', Cassano said: "It's stupid. I don't even remember the name of the team who want to sign me. For me, everyone is free to do what they want. But whoever goes to play in China should admit they are doing it for the money."

"I want to know whether I can still make it," he added. "I need a president and a coach who have 100% belief in me. Otherwise, I will leave it be. However, if I do find it, I'll be ready. I'll sign for free. I have already earned enough money."

Cassano became the most expensive teenager in the world when he signed for Roma in 2001 for 60 billion Italian lire (around €30m). He went on to play for Real Madrid and both Milan sides, winning league titles in Spain and Italy. Cassano has been without a club since leaving Verona last summer.
