Everton have a new target in Camp Nou
Last summer, Everton signed Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes. This upcoming transfer window could see them bring Malcom from Barcelona up to Goodison Park.
According to the 'Liverpool Echo', Everton want to sign Malcom this summer to reinforce their offensive setup. They will re-enter negotiations with Barcelona, as they did for Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes last summer.
The Toffees will be counting on Malcom's lack of game time and starting status under Valverde, as well as Barcelona's need for cash ahead of financing their own squad renewal.
Although the 22-year-old winger has a lot of interest across Europe, Everton hope to be able to use their relationship with the Azulgranas to their advantage.
