Estepona v Malagueño cancelled due to COVID-19
On Sunday 1st November, Estepona were supposed to welcome Malgueño. The match, however, won't be played. Malaga have positives in the squad and, therefore, the match has been postponed.
The coronavirus continues to be very active in the world. The situation is quite delicate in Spain and football, obviously, is not out of the picture.
Estepona v Malgueño is one of the matches that has been affected by COVID-19. Malaga communicated through their social media that the match will not be played.
"The RFAF has confirmed the suspension of CD Estepona - AT Malagueño, due to be held this Sunday 1st November at 12:00", the club explained in a statement.
COVID-19 has made its mark in the dressing room. "Málaga CF’s medical services have detected COVID-19 among the reserve team members, which is why they have activated the protocol as indicated by the authorities. Within this procedure, the Club provided prompt notification to the RFAF, who has postponed the meeting to a later date, yet to be determined", the club ended.
