Pere Milla's future is up in the air. As reported by 'La Grada', RCD Espanyol are interested in the Elche striker, even before Rufete's departure. His contract with Elche ends next June and so far he has not renewed.

Pere Milla's season is not going unnoticed by anyone. The Catalan striker is having one of his best seasons as a professional. His eight goals have been fundamental to Elche's salvation.

This added to the fact that his contract expires in June, has meant that several teams have already set their sights on him. The first to come to the fore was Valencia, with whom it was even claimed that he could have a pre-contract.

Now, according to 'La Grada', a media outlet which is a reference to RCD Espanyol, the 'Pericos' are reportedly taking a position to bring in the former Eibar player. It seems that this possibility has been brewing for some time, long before Rufete's departure. It remains to be seen if, with the arrival of Domingo Catoira in charge, it will continue to be a priority.

It was rumoured at the time that there could be an automatic renewal clause with the Elche side in the event of staying in La Liga, something that has never been proven. Be that as it may, a player of his characteristics, for free and in his footballing prime, would represent an important leap in quality in the Catalan attacking midfield.
