With Atletico 1-0 up, Atletico killed off the game against Huesca with a goal against Yannick Carrasco in possible offfside. The VAR checked the goal and gave it, but the line was drawn from the wrong place.

Atletico Madrid got the three points in a league game which saw them try and regain top spot. The second goal against Huesca meant they could breath easily in the final minutes.

At 1-0 at the Wanda, Atletico Madrid went on the counte. Marcos Llorente got into the box after a pass by Dembele and he played in Carrasco who just had to tap in.

The Belgian celebrated, but Huesca wanted offside when Llorente passed the ball. The VAR checked the incident, but finally gave the goal.

However, controversy came when the VAR lines were shown. TV replays seemed to suggest that the line had been drawn from Llorente's foot instead of the ball.

The law states that the second last defender marks offside, but the receiver is not offside if he is behind the ball. This would suggest that the VAR made a mistake.
