Emery wants to sign Betis' Alex Moreno
The Aston Villa manager wants Alex Moreno in his team. The Real Betis left-back is a request from Spanish coach Unai Emery, who has identified him as the ideal player to reinforce the left flank.
Real Betis will have to start worrying about another of their players after the possibility of Borja Iglesias replacing Joao Felix at Atletico Madrid was rumoured.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto from 'Relevo', Alex Moreno is the main contender to join the English side on the left flank.
His signing is a request from the Spanish coach Unai Emery, who is interested in Pellegrini's left-back. There has not yet been a formal proposal to the Spanish club.
However, Spanish defender Alex Moreno is not the only option for Aston Villa. The other alternative being considered by Emery's side is Adrien Truffert, who plays for Rennes. Real Sociedad are also keeping an eye on the player, as are Inter Milan. Both are aiming to sign him during the January transfer window.
