Unai Emery faces a situation which could leave the whole of Arsenal quite divided and tense. The Spanish coach will have to calm the controversy regarding captain Granit Xhaka, a man with big support in the dressing room.
The 'Gunners' captain told the Arsenal fans to "f*** off" during the game against Crystal Palace and, logically, the club is now considering the player's possible punishment.
It will be Emery who has the power to give him a vote of confidence and continue letting him wear the captain's arm band... or if he takes it off him and gives it to another player. The problem is that this decision probably won't go down well in the dressing room.
Xhaka is a very respected player in the dressing room. He has the support from many of the other 'Gunners' players, so it seems normal that in England they are already calling on him to make this decision quickly.
'Daily Mail' states that a change of captain could cause a riot in the squad, Emery's situation is not the best and doubts are beginning to be seen in the coach... which would be compounded by an internal dispute between players and coach.
