AS Roma forward Paulo Dybala sustained a thigh injury in Sunday's 1-0 victory over Cagliari that will keep him out for at least a month, meaning he will not be able to join Argentina during the international break.

The 31-year-old came on in the 64th minute for Roma, right after Dobvyk had given them the lead against Cagliari. However, his match ended 11 minutes later as he went down with an apparent problem to his left leg.

Paulo Dybala, replaced in the 75th minute by Pissili, was seen visibly in tears after the blow - his first big one of 2025 after two other minor injuries suffered earlier in the calendar year.

According to 'Sky Sports', 'La Joya is now set to remain sidelined for at least a month with a tendon injury in his left thigh, eyeing to make his return after the March international break.

Dybala will no longer be able to join Argentina after being included in Lionel Scaloni's provisional squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Brazil.

He is also set to miss out on the massive Serie A clashes against Juventus and Lazio after the break, representing a big miss for the 'Giallorossi'. Dybala has been crucial for Roma this season, providing 8 goals and 4 assists.
