Paulo Dybala made his return for Juventus in their 1-0 victory over rivals Torino on Sunday in a major boost ahead of the return leg of the Champions League with Tottenham in March.

The Argentine forward had been sidelined with a thigh injury since 6th January in the Serie A fixture against Cagliari but returned to training on Monday and has already forced his way back into the team.

Head coach Massimiliano Allegri called on the 24-year-old in the 66th minute during the derby match against Torino on Sunday, with the score finely poised in Juve's favour thanks to a goal from Alex Sandro in the first half.

However, Dybala had little action apart from a great chance to give his side a 2-0 lead as he continues to build up his fitness ahead of that Champions League return leg.

Despite the lay off, the Argentina international is still Juventus' top scorer this season with 14 goals, although he is tied with team-mate Gonzalo Higuain who limped off in the 15th minute with an ankle injury.

The Turin club didn't need goals from either forward though as they secured a 1-0 victory over their rivals to return to the top of the Serie A.
