Draxler and Uth out of Germany squad

Joachim Low has been hit by injuries to two of his young stars, as his side prepare for a crucial clash with Holland this month.

Schalke striker Mark Uth and PSG midfielder Julian Draxler have been ruled out of Germany's squad to face Holland and Russia this month. 

Uth has been ruled out through injury, after suffereing a hamstring and tendon strain during his sides 3-0 Bundesliga defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Draxler is due to miss the first match against Russia due to family bereavement. it is unsure if the player will return for the second match against Holland on Monday. 

Germany coach Joachim Low has stated his intention not to call up any replacements for the absent duo. 

After the team arrived in Leipzig on Monday, Low confirmed the decision, saying: "It's not planned at the moment. We have 20 outfield players and three goalkeepers. That's enough for the moment."
