Reports in Germany claim that Borussia Dortmund are closing in on a move for Hoffenheim defender and reported Tottenham Hotspur target Jeremy Toljan.

The right-back, who was part of Germany's U21 European Championship winning squad earlier this summer has attracted interest from all across Europe so far during this window, with the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Spurs all linked with a move for the youngster.

However, it appears that Peter Bosz's side have won the race for the highly-rated defender. German publication 'Bild' reports that Dortmund are closing in on a €5m move for the 23-year-old, who has just one year remaining on his contract at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

The aforementioned source also claims that the player would remain with his current employers this season before joining up with his new side ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

At that price, it certainly seems like a good deal for Dortmund.
