Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier has said that Tottenham are getting back on the right track after their 2-1 win against Brighton at the weekend
Speaking to the club's official website the England international, said that their perormance against Brighton was a ''step in the right direction'' for Spurs.
The North London club controlled the vast majority of the game at the AMEX, but after a late goal from Anthony Knockeart made it a grandstand finish, Spurs will still need to improve after the 2-1 victory.
Something Dier recognised: "It was so important,"
"It's a really difficult place to come, we know that, Brighton are an organised team, tough and we’re happy to have won.
"We know that if we concentrate on ourselves and do what we want to do right - our style of play, our mentality, our aggression, the way we approach the game - we know we're a match for anyone.
"We haven’t been good enough recently and this was a step in the right direction.
"The Inter game was already an improvement, the performance was better but we still lacked something...that little extra we needed to give. We know that.
"We’re a group of players who are very honest with ourselves both individually and as a collective. We know what we need to do and it's just a matter of us all doing it."
