Diego Costa scored 20 goals in the Premier League last season as Chelsea were crowned champions, but the 28-year-old remains in exile after been told by Conte he has no place in the team.
The striker is keen on a move back to Atletico Madrid, who are not willing to meet Chelsea's £50 million asking price.
With only a few days to go until the season kicks off, Costa appears to be in his hometown of Lagarto in Brazil, having not reported back to Chelsea's Cobham training ground since the end of last season.
His future is yet to be resolved, but one thing is very clear: he will not play under Antonio Conte again.
