Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister spoke about the World Cup final in Qatar in an interview with 'BBC Sport' and said Emiliano Martinez cried at Lionel Messi's speech in the dressing room.

Argentina celebrated an important anniversary last Sunday. It's been six months since the nation become the World Champions, beating France on penalties after an action-packed final in Qatar.

Liverpool midfielder Alex Mac Allister spoke about the day and what happened in the dressing room after and before their win in Qatar.

"Leo [Messi] was the one who took the floor in the locker room and we all got around. The talk before the final was very emotional, I think Dibu started crying," he told 'BBC Sport'.

"Seeing him motivates you and knowing that you are playing next to the greatest in history and going out on the pitch with 10 people who are like your family. He is so important for us on and off the pitch," he added.
