According to reports in 'Mundo Deportivo', Spaniard Gerard Deulofeu has reached a verbal agreement to become Napoli's new signing for next season.

Gerard Deulofeu could make a big leap in quality in this transfer window. After a great season at Udinese, the Spanish player has a good chance of continuing his career at Napoli.

According to what 'Mundo Deportivo' reported, the Neapolitan side would be willing to pay 18 million euros for the former Barcelona player, who has scored 13 goals in Serie A this past year.

And as if that wasn't enough, Deulofeu would already have a verbal agreement with Napoli to sign until the 2027 season with a salary of three million euros per year. However, the Italian team has not yet reached a definitive agreement with Udinese, who are asking 20 kilos for his transfer.

"At Napoli he would be perfect as a second striker behind (Victor) Osimhen and Gerard would be very happy to come and play in the Champions League with this shirt," said Albert Botines, Deulofeu's agent, in an interview with 'Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli'.

Thus, everything seems to indicate that the former Barcelona winger will become a new player for the southern Italian side for next season. Although some details remain to be resolved, the agreement is practically closed.
