Deulofeu and Semedo dropped for Catalan derby
FC Barcelona have released their squad list ahead of tomorrow's Catalan derby against Girona, with the absence of both Gerard Deulofeu and Nelson Semedo the main talking point.
Following Barca's convincing 6-1 victory over Eibar at the Camp Nou the Catalan side continue to lead the way in La Liga.
A tricky-looking trip to Catalan rivals Girona is next up for Ernesto Valverde's side as they look to maintain their stunning early-season form.
Barca have already released their official squad list for the game, with Nelson Semedo and Gerard Deulofeu missing out for tactical reasons.
Their loss is others' gain though, with Paco Alcacer, Samuel Umtiti and Andre Gomes returning to the squad.
The 18 players that Valverde will have to choose from against Girona are as follows: Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Jasper Cillessen, Gerard Piqué, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Denis Suarez, Andres Iniesta, Luis Suarez, Messi, Mascherano, Paulinho, Paco Alcacer, Jordi Alba, Lucas Digne, Sergi Roberto, Andre Gomes, Aleix Vidal and Samuel Umtiti.
