Despite criticism, Wijnaldum is happy at PSG

Georginio Wijnaldum joined Paris Saint-Germain for free this summer from Liverpool. The Dutchman, however, has not yet found his place in the French side.

The former Reds player has been heavily criticised, the most of the big signings that have arrived. But Wijnaldum is showing his best side, aware that he needs a little more time to show his level.

"The whole team impressed me. Since I came here, the players have helped me a lot. They are very friendly and they are also very good players," he said on PSG's official TV channels.

Wijnaldum compared his time with England to France: "It's like when I lived in Liverpool, we were family and here it's the same. The only difference is that I play for a different team with different qualities."

"I already knew they were good players. I played against them. I didn't know their personalities, but I saw some good things about the team and how they performed as a team. Now I see it with my own eyes," he said.
