Ousmane Dembele has already returned to Barcelona to start is recovery after undergoing surgery on his left femoral bicep in Finland.

Barcelona announced  Dembele's return to the Catalonian capital on their social media as he starts his recovery from the injury he suffered against Getafe last weekend. 

The French winger travelled to Finland to have an operation after rupturing the tendon in the femoral bicep in his left leg in the league game at the Coliseum.

The 21-year-old showed his satisfaction on returning to his new home to start the recovery as he aims to return to action as soon as possible.

Although it has been reported that the young Frenchman will be out for at least three months, those inside the club are hopeful that the former Dortmund winger can make quick progress and reintegrate himself into the team in a little over two months.

Only time will tell when Dembele will wear the Barcelona shirt again, but the player has already returned to Spain to start his recovery.

According to 'Sport', the player will not be able to move his leg for three weeks, then once the swelling reduces and the wound heals, he will start doing exercises with minimal mobility. Then, the player will start sessions with the physiotherapist and, finally, he will gradually be reincorporated into training with the Barcelona first team.
