Rodrigo de Paul could cut his holiday and join his new team Atletico Madrid earlier than expected. He played his last game on 10th July and he could return on the 25th.

Atletico Madrid are continuing their pre-season and they are gradually getting back some international players. One of those who could come back early is Rodrigo de Paul

By law, footballers are allowed three weeks holiday from their last game. De Paul's last match was on 10th July (11th morning in Spain) in a game which saw Argentina win the Copa America.

He would have to come back for 1st August, but 'AS' say he will return a week early. On Sunday 25th to be precise. The Argentine wants some more time to adapt to his new club even if that means he loses a week of his holiday.
