With Gareth Southgate likely to include Jake Livermore in his World Cup squad, club manager Darren Moore hopes the midfielder has a chance to shine on the international stage.

Southgate is reportedly impressed with Livermore's dedication and commitment to representing his country. The 28-year-old was prepared to drop everything to join up with the England squad back in November.

West Brom caretaker manager Moore is equally impressed with Livermore's attitude. He said: ''He's been excellent - really incredible. He's shown real consistency.''

''He's showing the form Jake Livermore was brought here for; he's been a wonderful driving force from midfield.'' He joined West Brom back in January 2017 from Hull City for £10million.

Moore continued: ''That can take him into the World Cup because he's certainly got the ability to do so and he's going into that in the right frame of mind and form.''

He concluded: ''He gets into threatening positions and he's got goals too, which we always knew he could do.''
