Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir has been selected to officiate the Champions League Round of 16 clash between Barcelona and Chelsea on Tuesday. The same one who has had mixed receptions from the Catalan giants.

Barcelona have played in six matches under the Turkish official's command and have never lost a match, winning four and drawing the other two.

The last time Cakir was in charge of one of their fixtures was in 2015 during their Champions League final with Juventus. 'Los Cules' managed to break down the Serie A outfit with their deadly 'MSN' trident of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar to lift the famous European trophy.

However, they haven't all been positive memories for the La Liga leaders. Cakir was officiating the 2012 semi-final second leg against Chelsea at the Camp Nou when the London club secured a 2-2 draw to progress to the final, with a missed Messi penalty being the biggest talking point.

In addition to these two results, Barcelona drew 1-1 with Rubin Kazan and beat Benfica (0-2), Roma (6-1) and Arsenal (0-2) meanwhile their opposition has experienced three wins, two draws and two defeats under Cakir.
