Alan Pardew was hoping to sign Christian Benteke from Liverpool, but with the Belgian star unsure about a mover to Selhurst Park, he has turned his attentions to the Baggies forward.
Crystal palace will encouraged by the news that Berahino has recently rejected a new contract with West Brom, meaning he is likely to be on the move this summer.
However, the 22-year-old is also wanted by Stoke City and Watford, meaning that the Eagles may have a battle on their hands.
