The 3-3 draw which saw Barca drop two points in the last play of the match was not the worst thing for Barca in the game with Celta Vigo this Saturday. Up to three Barca players left the match before time.
Ansu Fati was the first to get injured. He went to chance a ball which was played over the heads of the defence and he pulled his hamstring. The youngster, who had gradually been getting back into the team after his very serious injury, did not come back in the second half and Barca confirmed he had suffered a muscle injury in the femoral biceps muscle in his left thigh.
Eric Garcia did not start the second half either. He did not seem to have an injury, but had actually picked up a knock in the first 45 minutes. He was replaced by Araujo after feeling something in the soleus muscle in his right leg.
Finally, in the second half, Nico also got injured and he had to be replaced by Riqui Puig. Nico will not play for the Spain under 21s in this international break and he was Barca's third player to get injured in the game.
With these three, Barca have now had 20 injuries this season across 15 different players. 14 of those injuries have been related to muscles and so the club's medical staff are now being questioned.
One of Xavi's requests to join was to get doctor Ricard Pruna. However, 'Cadena COPE' reports that this signing will have to wait as they are struggling to reach an agreement.
