Coutinho smashed the crossbar for Barca
Philippe Coutinho gave Ernesto Valverde some indication of what to expect after smacking the crossbar in his team's La Liga game against Espanyol on Sunday.
The Brazil international is still adjusting to life in Barcelona following his €145m move from Liverpool in January. However, he nearly grabbed his first goal for 'Los Cules' in their league fixture against Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium.
After some great link-up play between Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez, the Uruguayan set up his new team-mate who found himself in plenty of space just outside the box. The Brazilian opened up his body and curled a beautiful strike but was denied by crossbar in the 21st minute.
